Description
Midas eyes is a collaborative artist book which can be folded and unfolded to be read in many ways. On one side, photographs of soft grey light beams interconnect like a labyrinth, they fold over to intermingle with the other side, the poetic retelling of the Midas myth. Midas eyes is a book about searching, pining, and assigning value, made as an exploration of placing a narrative to the reading photographic abstraction.
This is the first self published photo book by Chelsea Goodwin (Cossu). Midas Eyes is hand made, in an elaborate accordion fold style, with poetic collaboration by Kristen Orser Crouse.
